Does old (Original) Sonos equipment stop working? I can no longer find my existing system.

I have had SONOS connected in my house for 13 years, using speakers in my ceiling and a portable speaker. It stopped working a few months ago and I have tried numeous times to reconnect to the sysem. I’ve also tried creating a new system. I’ve unplugged the speakers many times, have deleted and downloaded the SONOS app, but it can’t find an existing system or create a new one. Do I need to buy new equipment? If so, what should I buy? I would love to have voice control this time Thanks!

How old?

Older speakers need S1 but I suspect that most of your devices will work with what is called S2.

There are some issues with the new app where systems appear to go missing. I would recommend calling Sonos support for help but be prepared for a long wait as some people are reporting 50+ minute delays.
