Connection issue to NAS

I cannot connect my S1 system to my new Synology NAS (Had zero issues with my old ReadyNAS).

I know there’s been many posts re this, and I’ve done what they say (SMBv1 & NTLMv1 settings on NAS). This allowed me to add the music folder on my NAS to my music library, but I can’t see any music on the sonos!

I also tried using an IP address to connect music folder and goi a warning “the computer (IP---) refused to let sonos connect.

Anyone able to assist?

It sounds like a permissions issue.

Isn’t SMB1 still required for Sonos S1?  You may not wish to enable it, though, because of the security warnings.  (And I am not totally confident this is a possible explanation anyway.)

You are forcing a reindex once connected?

Does it work or fail?
