I just set up a new network with a single Play 1 speaker.  For the life of me, I cannot get Pandora to play on the speaker.  If I try to add a service in the Sonos App all I can find is Pandora Cloud Cover service (to which I am not  a subscriber).  If I go to the Pandora app and attempt to cast, it appropriately shows me the speaker (room) I set up. If I click save, it just goes back to Pandora playing on my phone… i.e. it is not “casting” to the Sonos network/speaker.
What am I missing?  I’ve tried the obvious and it’s not working… :(

I’m in the US and my services show Pandora.  Maybe it’s a location issue.

Thanks @MoPac.  I am looking at the exact same view and Pandora does not exist.  I’m in California.  I don’t *think* that’s a location issue.  :)

and, btw, it’s the same if I select “All” instead of “Music”

If removing and re-installing the app, or trying with another controller device, doesn’t show it, I would still check the address in Sonos web profile.

Some common music services weren’t listed in my Sonos app even though my address looked to be in the US. Re-editing and saving and waiting for 24+ hours made them appear on the list. Some have written that checking for updates in the System settings should refresh that list, too.

Go into your Sonos online account and change the address there, even if it’s correct override it.

Then in the Sonos App, Systems Settings, manage, system updates…. Check for updates as KPR above says this forces an update on the available services list,

if this does not work you can either try waiting a few day or best to ring Sonos support.

Thank you @kpr and @Belly M!  I didn’t realize that the services list was relying on my profile’s address (which I don’t remember entering but had Ottawa Canada), rather than rely on my phone’s gps.  I’ve now entered my address in California.

I’ve deleted the iphone app and then re-installed.  I checked for an update (none needed, but completed the process anyway).  Pandora is still not listed, but I’ll wait the 24+ hours to see if magically, it appears. 😐

What do you see when you look in the Services screen at All rather than Music?  My services screen this morning was blank.  When I selected Music then back to All the services reappeared.  Maybe changing categories refreshes the list.

@MoPac… before changing the address, switching back and forth between Music and All had no effect.

Since my last post I’ve had to disassemble my Sonos and pack it for a move this week...hope to have it back up and running soon and have Pandora in view when I get unpacked at the new location!
