After the app update I just cannot use my sonos system. I did reset the app and added my speakers to the system but the app was not responding. I deleted the app and installed it again, but still the same issue. I spent literally hours with sonos support but they provided me with no solution. The situation is so disappointing. Does anyone know any workaround ?

Same here, lost all functions and sonos chatbot was somewhat disappointing.

I was sceptical when I chose sonos to replace my aging separates system but thought convenience and space saving would be a bonus. Once again software issues brings modern tech down making my sonos ones as good as expensive book end.

How is your TT connected to Sonos that info will help. Is it via line-in to a compatible speaker, Port or Amp?

I do not have a sonos port or amplifier and the sonos speakers I have they do not really have a line in option

So what are you using to connect the TT to your Sonos devices? What sonos products and TT are you using? What were the troubleshooting steps taken with the Sonos Support Staff? - Maybe also detail your network setup, as otherwise it maybe difficult to make any suggestions for you to perhaps try.

Thanks a lot for the response! I really appreciate it. I am not currently using my TT at all. The issue is that my system consists of a sonos one sl, sonos one and a sonos bookself (all connected wirelessly). Before the update the system was working just fine. After the update I cannot detect them at all. The steps we took include:

  1. Resetting the app and connecting to existing system and then adding them
  2. Resetting app and creating a ”new system” and adding the speakers
  3. Deleting the app and re doing step 1
  4. Using an altrnative phone and doing step 1
  5. Using an alternative phone and doing step 2
  6. Connecting sonos SL via ethernet and trying to connect the rest

Nothing worked. I asked if I could downgrade my system and use the old app but it is no possible and when I asked if there is any other workaround I got no response. I sent of course diagnostics of the problem to the support team.

Okay well the TT will not work with those products directly, you would need further hardware to resolve that issue. What router are you using and is it 802.11b/g/n compatible & have you got it’s WiFi set to security mode WPA2 personal, or something else?

What steps were tried with the Sonos Support Staff? Did you try running the devices in SonosNet mode for example with one product cabled to the router?

What controller device is being used for the setup, make, model & OS version?
