After the new app update, I am mot able to add my beam to the app. I did a factory reset and it added my Play 1s that I have, but I’m not able to add my beam. I was able to add the beam once, but it started an update and it was not able to complete the update and it didn’t get added. Second time I tried, I skipped the update, but when I try to connect to my TV, the beam is not detecting my TV. 


Note that everything was working fine before the app update - so it’s not about unplugging and plugging in the speaker and router settings etc. 

 

For a speaker system that relies heavily on the software, this is a big miss and how can I trust any Sonos product in the future where a simple app update can essentially brick my speakers? All the best with your new headphones that was released this week if you have an app that behaves like this.
