When I try and connect to my music library on my PC running win 11 I get the error message that computer can’t be found.  I’ve tried on 2 different machines and it happens on both.  I’ve checked and the computer names are correct. Help have a party happening this afternoon.

Is the network connection set to private, rather than public? It needs to be set as a private network. If using an http share ensure the share is available from any other devices on the LAN

Thank you I tried but didnt work.  My firewall is by my bitdefender software.  I disabled it and no luck.

FWIW, here is some further information about Sonos and Firewall configuration. If you disable to firewall you may need to reboot the PC too:

Maybe check the music library folder share too - see this link:

Hi @zacatona

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

If “SonosLibraryServer.exe” is not running in the background (you can check with Task Manager), then you will likely need to uninstall the Sonos app and reinstall it.

If this does not fix the problem, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

Hi Ken, unfortunately I am also one of those people who also has the same problem. With WIN10 no problem with WIN 11 it doesn't work.
I spent 3 days together with the guidance (Dutch). You always have another. Third time good time. Actually, we went through the same step by step as the day before. Problem that occurred The music folder could not be added in its entirety ( 50 gb) 10,000 mp3.
he strange thing was that 1 single folder succeeded???? Solution go to folder music (other partition) via explorer to properties, SHARE FOLDER: -> Permission -> Check all 3 permissions. And after a few minutes it worked.
