Can't connect the app my Sonos 5

I have just bought my second sonos 5 and wanted to use them in stereo. I hadn’t been using the previous sonos app for a while just playing through spotify. I upgraded the new app for android and it can’t find my new speaker, insists on doing a software update that never completes and keeps giving me error 1000 and 1002 codes.

 

Should i just wait a few days and reinstall the app once you guys have fixed the bugs?

I have the same issue setting up my sonos five, 1002 error.
