I have 2 Sonos Play 3 speakers in my study which work perfectly using my PC. I also have a Sonos One in my kitchen. I can operate the latter without a problem from my PC but this is upstairs. When I try to operate it in the kitchen using the Sonos app on either my Samsung tablet or my wife’s iPad, only about a third of the Spotify playlists are dispiayed.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues when using the Samsung Tablet and the iPad.

I’ve had a look around and there’s currently an issue where having over 50 playlists can cause others to not appear. I have my playlists showing on my Samsung phone and tablet, though I only have a handful.

If you have over 50 then you likely have this issue. The workarounds are to use Spotify Direct Control and play directly from the Spotify app or to try and search for the playlist in the Sonos app. 

If you don’t have over 50, then I would recommend making sure everything is up to date on the tablets, both the firmware versions of the tablets and the Sonos app. You could also try to reset the Sonos app, or reauthorize Spotify by heading to Account → Content Services → Spotify → Account Name → Reauthorize Account.

I don’t have details on what exactly is causing the issue, but it doesn’t seem like it was happening on the previous app, so it’s either a new bug or some form of integration issue.

I checked with our engineers about this and it does have a bug report on our end but we have no ETA on when it will be resolved. I’ve marked this thread as having this issue so if there’s any news then I can update this thread, but for now I’d suggest keeping an eye out on our release notes and, if you have Spotify installed on the tablets, using Spotify Direct Control to stream the playlist.
