I access the Sonos app on Samsung tablet. I have a friend who sends me playlists, or did so a year ago or more. But now when he does, they show up in Apple Music but not on the Apple Music service I use through Sonos. I am hearing that this is a recent problem and that something in the code of the playlist is creating this problem. I don’t have an error message, the playlist doesn’t appear.

Hi @Hebephrene, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues seeing Apple Music playlists in the Sonos app.

We don’t have anything internally for Apple Music playlists not showing in the app, and for missing content we’d just verify if the content is browsable in the Sonos and Apple Music app (like searching for a song in both apps). Just to check, can you see your own playlists? e.g. anything you’ve created under your account instead of a playlist that was shared to you?

On the Sonos side, I’d suggest reauthorizing your Apple Music connecting in Sonos by going to Account → Content Services → Apple Music → Primary Account → Reauthorize Account. This will let the Apple Music servers know to send an update to Sonos and should show any missing content.

However, you might have better luck with Apple Support regarding this. Shared playlists might work differently in Apple Music, and thus, aren’t passed correctly or at all. If there’s a way to save the playlist to be your own instead of your friends, then I’d suggest trying that.

I hope this information helps!
