Apple Music is intermittent. Music cuts in and out only on Apple Music. Pandora works fine and it never cuts in and out. Been happening last month or so as far as I know
Sonos began supporting lossless audio from Apple Music about three weeks ago. Your system is likely having issues streaming the higher quality audio. A couple of workarounds is using AirPlay or a voice assistant to stream the audio rather than using the Sonos app.
It would be helpful if Sonos allowed users to toggle lossless audio on/off.
