amazon echo to amp

Hi I’m installing several zoned areas with in-ceiling speakers wired back to several amps in my comms  cabinet. If I get an Amazon echo how does this communicate with my amps and zones? Is it simply a case of plugging it in and hooking it up to the wifi network or does it need to be wired back to the amps?

No need for a physical connection.  Just install the Sonos Skill within the Alexa App to link your two accounts.
