 before Sonos updated the app in May, the stability and functionality was great. Since this update there has been lots of issues and some of them have been fixed and some have not and we’ve also talked about them on here.

What is annoying is that all my album art that is stored on my local drive, is not showing from my NAS library and it used to work fine? It actailly works through Plex, but I prefer to use my own library, as I’ve got my own playlists that I’ve created over the years….

Do we know when this will be fixed please?

I still don't see how a 3rd party App is more user friendly than the actual Sonos app.

 

How can they integrate it into Sonos and it connects seamlessly and gives you more usability.


I can confirm that after nearly 6 months the album artwork for music library is now working on Android and hopefully it's working for iOS users as well?!

You need to update the app and also check for firmware update across your Sonos devices


Updated app to 80.14.06. All device firmware up to date. Library updated. Still no artwork from my library stored on QNAP. ​@HiRESrules How is your artwork stored? I am using folder.jpg, music stored as FLAC.
