Today, again, my alarm did not go off at the appointed time. This has been happening on a weekly basis since the launch of the new app.
This alarm is configured to go off on weekdays at 6.35am, play a random song from a playlist (creatively called 'Wake-up songs'), play at 10% volume, and run for 2 hours.
Yesterday morning, the alarm went off at 6.35 normally, and I woke up.
Today, I woke at 6.53, and noticed that my alarm was utterly silent.
In the app, I could then verify that:
- The alarm was still configured as described
- The alarm was switched on
- The Sonos app was not reporting any issues
However, the playlist for the Sonos One by my bed was entirely empty, which is inexplicable as I hadn't done anything since waking up from the alarm yesterday. Normally, the song that woke me up is in the playlist until the next morning.
I've already reinstalled the new app after deleting app data and cache. I've also recreated the alarm. The issue keeps popping up. What's the fix?
