What’s the best way to control alarms or scheduled music play? Is it through the Sonos app or through Spotify or Apple Music? I currently use the Sonos app to choose which playlist to play at a certain time, but I find it to be a little bit clunky and I’m wondering if there are some better options.

+21If you can use Python then look up SoCo, I use it to resume play of a playlist then sleep the music after a
period of time. Needs a Raspberry Pi… so probably more clunky but works 100% once setup.
With iOS look for the App Soro for a GUI version of the above.
Apart from Sonos Alarms, I also use an IKEA Tradfri gateway (which also supports my shortcut buttons and Symfonisk sound remotes) to form groups and start sources on a schedule.
