I keep seeing the crossfade option when messing around the settings on the Sonos App. What exactly does it do and when do I use it?

Crossfade crosses the ending of one track into the beginning of the next, fading one into the other. Turn it on, then add some tracks to the queue and you will find out what it sounds like.
