Make sure the sample rate isn’t higher than 48kHz. This is the highest Sonos supports.
Thanks, all within 16 kHz.
Trying to update metadata to see if that helps.
Any other suggestions?
Standard CD is 16 bit/44.1 kHz.
However, I don’t know if the 16 kHz you use can cause issues.
Did you update your music library?
Though WAV is supported I recommend FLAC 16 bit/44.1 kHz, which handles metadata better, and file size is reduced compared to WAV.
Thanks, will check that out.
Happy Christmas
Found great app to sort out the metadata - TagScanner.
Also attached cover art.
Thanks for suggestions.
Why did you pick the 16 KHz rate, that really kills the high frequencies above 8 KHz in your rip?

From another site:
So you can capture and reconstruct the original sine wave’s frequency with an audio sample rate at least twice its frequency, a rate called the Nyquist rate.
Conversely, a system can capture and recreate frequencies up to half the audio sample rate, a limit called the Nyquist frequency.
