I would like to play audio files on my Ubuntu PC to my Sonos system but haven't known how to do it.
Have just come across the VLV Media Player (Ubuntu). I believe it could stream media to my Sonos but don't know how to do it.
Any suggestions?

It may or may not be possible but why not just set your PC music folder up as your Sonos music library? This is how it is designed to work.

Thanks for that John.
Not sure how to do that in Ubuntu hence my interest in VLC Player.
Have already set up a music library in my NAS device but if I just want to listen checkout a new audio item I would need to upload it to the NAS then go to the Sonos controller and update the library.
