Turntable set up with Sonos 5s

Sonos newbie here. So I have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable and a preamp that I would like to set up with a pair of Fives for stereo sound. Is it possible to hardwire both or do I just use a rca to 3.5mm to one of the Fives and then couple the 2nd Five using the software?

Greatul for any advice here!

Just set them up as a stereo pair using the app, then connect the turntable to the line in on the left speaker.

You could use the right instead of the left, but left is better.

Also, as a pair they will be identified as a single "room" in the app. In the line in settings for that room, set up Autoplay, with the "room" for Autoplay being the Fives' room
