Terrible User experience with new App

10 years+ user, Beam, 2x S5, 3 x S1 and two Symfonisk lamps.

So, after 15 minutes of looking, I still cannot get music playing in my office.

Also getting mysterious ‘Unable to Load - Some Information is missing from this content’ message. There is nothing there I can act on …. WTF

 

The new App seems set up to follow the steps of some hypothetical user, not an actual Sonos user.

Honestly, until this gets clearer, I can no longer recommend Sonos products.

I found one workaround: I can ‘cast’ music stored locally on my device to my office speaker. The App currently doesn’t provide this function ---- of playing music.

No SHUFFLE button?  How is an oversight of that magnitude even possible?????

They released the app before it was ready, because their new headphones require it. Shuffle will probably come back, eventually.
