I noticed that on 2/16/21 there was an Android update to the S2 App. I have held off on updating it, because I know I can never go back. Can anyone please comment on any negative or positive experiences with the update so I can make an informed decision before moving forward with the update. Thanks in advance for any answers or comments.
What version are you currently running?
In general, what are commonly known as dot updates, because they aren’t major number changes, are minor bug fixes. So anything that goes from x.2 to x.3 is a minor bug fix, and should be safe. It’s when the ‘x’ changes that you may want to be more concerned.
That being said, I’ve not had any issues with either dot updates, or more substantial updates from Sonos, ever.
