Sonos desktop controller software for windows vista 32 bit

Im having problems loading the sonos controller software, after downloading file it says does not work with the 32bit system, it there a specific file to download for 32 bit or do i need a 64bit pc ?

I’m sorry to hear about the problem you’re experiencing.

The Sonos controller work on both 32 & 64 bit PC.
May I ask you to check if the Windows OS is up to date. 
Also have the version of .NET Framework

Do you have any other why to control the Sonos system?
If yes, may I also ask you to submit a diagnostic and reply with the confirmation number.

job done thanks very much,may have been the .net framework, or just decided to now work after a reboot but tis all good now anyway thanks you. I was already connected with the ususal ipad, android and a second laptop but its always good to have further access options. Now to get a sonos pla one to got with the 5 and the playbar ! Sorry Mr bank manager, bit more overdrawsn this xmas !!

I got a new Sonos Play 1. Can I use a Chrome book or Windows Vista to operate this speaker? thanks
