My Sonos app works great one day and then doesn’t work the following it is driving me crazy

The Sonos app itself doesn't connect to wifi, it's the device that it is on that connects to wifi. So if you're having issues, take a look at your device. The Sonos app just tells the device "give me your wifi connection", and off it goes.
At least, that's what I'm getting from your post. If, perchance, it's not the wifi connection of the controller itself, but instead the speakers not connecting to your wifi (I think the error is "Sonos can't find your speakers on your wifi", then there's a different issue going on.
Can you be a bit more specific about what you're seeing? What device your controller is on? What speakers you have, and how they're connected, either by one being wired to your router, or do they just connect via wifi?
