Why release software before it has been checked? - why discontinue working apps (DesktopApp) before supplying an updated one? - why do Sonos continue to employ useless software engineers instead of populating the workforce with more able 12 year olds?

At least Apple support devices for at least 7 years - my 18 month old Sonos set up seems obsolete already.

I was just sent this in an online chat “To access your music library on Sonos, you can stream it from any computer or network attached storage drive to your Sonos system. Here's how you can do it using the Sonos app for macOS or Windows”   - the chat ended when I asked where to get this App.
