For those (geek, advanced android user) who want comfort and not wait for the return of this function, with Android only and luck, you can use the much missed Macronos application (His dev should have been hired by Sonos...).

But you have to find the apk on an alternative store.

Afterwards it's quite intuitive.

And there are many other features, such as quickly launching a favorite on a speaker or a group of speakers.

Macronos has still been working as well for years even though this App is no longer supported. Oh thank you very much!

By the way, another feature that is really missing and which does not appear much as feedback is the control via the notification bar and the lock screen.

Having to systematically open the app to adjust the volume or stop the music is simply a nightmare!

It is urgent need to restore this control!
