hi @CCCTTT you should be able to use Airplay on your iPhone and select the SONOS device without even using the SONOS App.

Apple has not integrated their podcasts app into the Sonos ecosystem. Most folks have gone with Pocket Casts who need that sort of integration, but there are occasional issues, including the speed of listening. 

As @el rubio states, if you have the proper Sonos devices that can receive AirPlay 2, you could just use the Apple podcast app to get the content playing on your Sonos, rather than using the Sonos controller.
