I’m at a different location away from my Sonos products.  I tried to open the app and it just says no products found and won’t go further.  Do I have to be with my Sonos speakers to open the new app?

Airgetlam, I don’t like that, but I haven’t liked anything about this new app.  Anyway, thanks for responding so quickly.

With a caveat, that I’ve not yet tested. Apparently the new desktop (web based) product doesn’t have this restriction, but does require a sign in to your system.

The mobile app reaches out on the local WiFi network to handshake with everything before ‘opening’ and displaying.

Airgetlam, I just tried to log in on the website and was able to get in so you are right it is just the app I can’t access away from the products.

Until the v80 release of S2, it has always been this way. This whole ‘web access’ while not on your local WiFi is new.
