I am a premium subscriber of both Spotify and Musixmatch..



I have 2 ways to decide what to play on my Sonos speakers.

1) I can use the Sonos controller App (iOS or MacOS)

2) I can use the Spotify app (iOS or MacOS) through Spotify Connect



This scenario works very fine:

a) start Musixmatch app on MacOS or iOS

b) start Spotify on iOS or MacOS

c) play a song and using Spotify Connect instruct the Sonos speaker to take over the song

d) Lyrics shows nicely on Musixmatch app on MacOS and iOS





This scenario fails:

a) start Musixmatch app on MacOS or iOS

b) start Sonos controller on iOS or MacOS

c) play a spotify song and using Sonos controller.

d) Neither the Musixmatch MacOS or iOS reacts to the song being played.





Anybody have the same setup that can confirm the problem?

Any idea who should address the problem?
