I can not access the Music Library Settings under the Manage tab. I'm running OS X 10.10 and Sonos 9.1 I've just added the controller to my Mac Book Pro ( already have it on an iMac) Any pointers????

According to the supported OS page (supported OS ) OS X 10.10 is still supported.
So, that leads me to the conclusion that there's a mismatch between the software on the computer, and the software on the speakers, which could cause this to be greyed out. Have you tried doing a scan for updates using the setting on the controller?
I'd also recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of replicating this issue, and either post the number here, or contact Sonos to discuss it. There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
