Seems that there is no way to use the alarm on files on my hard drive, or a way to upload my files to Amazon or Apple Music.

Let me know what I am missing.

After indexing the drive into the local library, add the file(s) to a Sonos Playlist or an Imported Playlist. This can then be selected as alarm music.

To upload the files to either Amazon or Apple you’d need to use their apps, not the Sonos App. The Sonos app is merely a ‘remote control’ which tells the system which runs on the speakers what to do.
