Sonos 2 su***

  • none of my friends who come over can use it now
  • it’s always going out and making me reset or reinstall it
  • there is no longer a MacBook app that works with it that I can find

So can I uninstall S2 and reinstall S1?

  • where do I find a S1 app for MacBooks
  • where do I find S2 apps for iPhone/iPad

Thanks!

Maybe I should create a rental service? You could rent my Play:5 Gen 1, use that to roll-back an S2-upgraded system, then send me mine back. Factory reset the now-S1 system and you are all good again.

If you are complete on S2 you can’t go back; at least one component on S1 is required for this.

Submit a diagnostic and reply here with the confirmation number; a technician will get back to you.

There is nothing wrong with S2. Contact Sonos Support to resolve your network issues.

If you have no speakers left on S1 you cannot go back.
