Does anyone know exactly what audio quality is played when streaming from Apple Music? I know it isn’t lossless (24-bit) but is it 16-bit?
Also, any difference streaming via S2 app vs AirPlay? S2 app seems better to me but that might not be real.

Last I checked, playing Apple Music directly from the Sonos app streams at 256 kbps AAC. And, as far as I know, AirPlay 2 is about the same quality.
My Windows app shows the stream details, and Apple Music streams @ 16-bit 44.1kHz. No details are shown for Airplay so cannot compare.
