Recommendation for a dedicated Sonos remote: 

My favorite CR200 is dying, dead spots on screen and probably not worth  buying a used one. I want to find a device (small) to use as a dedicated remote, I play mostly from Amazon and do have a small favorite list, also play a lot from the SonosTube app.  Don’t have a smartphone I could use for this and don’t want to use my iPad pro as well (too big to carry around 12.9). Looking for maybe an Android based OS hopefully can use as a remote, what I don’t know is minimum version of android I would need. iPhone too expensive just to buy and use as a dedicated remote, recommended please.

I picked up a low-end iPod Touch off ebay to use for Trueplay, price was pretty decent and might be worth it if you already have Apple gear.

Older gear can work too, just not for all functions (second link) and that can save a few bucks.
