Computer (name) refused to let sonos connect

I've tried everything I can find here and nothing seems to be working.

Diagnostic: 6887368

Just trying to get the library to connect on my new PC. Everything else seems to have migrated just fine. Uninstalled and re-installed Sonos desktop software. I've ensured that it is allowed to play nice through the firewall, I've even disabled the firewall. Nothing seems to work to get access to the music files. App running on the same PC as the library.

Thanks!

Probably a firewall issue.

Thanks!

I tried the configuration as well as completely disabling the firewall. No joy.

Huh. Maybe try giving Sonos a call since your computer isn't cooperating.

Hi MacWebby,

What is your computer's network type? If it is set to public it won't allow connections to Sonos. Instead, switch it to private and see if that helps. Here's an article explaining how to switch.
