Is there a way to cast to a different set of speakers from previous session? When i go to cast the only option is to cast to the same set of speakers that I used the last time.

From which app are you casting?
I note that you have tagged the Sonos app in your post, but you cannot cast from the Sonos app.
I can't reproduce this problem. When I come back to Spotify I just tap the room name and the list of available rooms comes up.
