Can only play on multiple units / rooms

In iOS v80.01.30, I appear unable to play TuneIn radio on just one of three zones. 
 

App defaults to one room (consisting of a single Play 1), and while I can add another room (either room with another Play 1 or my surround setup), I cannot deselect the original “default” room without disabling sound elsewhere.
