I just found out that sonos now supports Apple Music.

I have spotify but everything else in my house is apple.

I was thinking of making the switch to apple music now that it is supported but I have an older system currently and wondering if I will need to upgrade.

I have one generation 1 with alexa, Play 1, Playbar and 2 Play 3

Apple Music on Sonos will work just fine with your setup. No need to upgrade.
