App will not let me add speaker

HELP!!  Can someone tell me why the app will not let me add a speaker.  I have the Sonos app for Androids loaded on my Samsung.  I want to add a new Sonos speaker to my current setup.  Have gone into the app> System>  but the “Add Product” is grayed out so can not add anything.

I’ve even un-installed and re-installed  the controller app.  Still not showing up to add a speaker.

Feeling really stupid here.  I am pretty good with computers/apps but can’t figure out why I can not simply add a single Sonos (sonos one) speaker.  It shouldn’t be this hard.  Feeling like I should have NEVER invested the $$$ in this system.  Anyone have any idea why the app is not letting me add a speaker to my current system

Full support requires Android 7.0.  Android 5.x and 6.x will have limited settings menus.

That’s the Sonos version, the question was what operating system you’re running on your device that the controller is on.

6.0.1 - I was able to add speakers until the latest SONOS update.

That makes no sense.  It worked just fine until the last SONOS update.  I shouldn’t have to upgrade all my devises EACH TIME SONOS does an update.  TALK ABOUT AN EXPENSIVE SYSTEM TO MAINTAIN!!

The update stated, “still can be used to control commonly-used features”.  Adding a speaker IS a “COMMONLY-USED FEATURE”!!!!!
