Sonos media controls worked great on my Wear OS 1.x device but it was recently upgraded to Wear OS 2.0 and it looks like the Sonos app no longer triggers media controls on the device. So it looks like notifications worked out of the box with Wear OS 1.x but not in Wear OS 2.x Does anyone have the notification working on a Wear OS 2.0 device?

Hi there everyone. Thanks for taking the time to post. Sonos was not tested (or intended) to work through WearOS devices. Personally, I encountered something similar on my Apple Watch. As such, I am happy to forward this topic along to the team as a feature request for visibility and consideration.

wear os with the 2.16 update with regards the media controls

reading various forums requires a modification on applications that have notifications with media control

I hope the sonos assistance will take place as soon as possible.

I found an easy and immediate solution to the problem

Install the application from the play store
"Wear Music Controller"

manages to drive all the players including sonos
