Here’s a puzzler.  1.  I use a connect amp to connect to SONOS.  suddenly, when I push the pause/stop button, it does not stop.

But here’s a bigger puzzle!  tonight I had to turn it off, the pause button didn’t work, so i UNPLUGGED the connect amp.  The music kept playing!  Not for a few seconds, it just kept on playing!!  So...that just isn’t possible, but it did.  I swear!  Not crazy.  It played on.  the only way I could stop it was to go find my phone, log on and stop with the app.

How is this possible?  Anyone?

Did the lights go out on the Connect Amp?

I’d lean to you pulled the wrong plug.

Hi Stanley.  There’s only one electric plug to pull.  LOL  

I know it sounds crazy but I really do know the difference.  There’s only the wires to the speakers and the electric plug..  I talked to a SONOS tech guy tonight and he’s stumped too.  I think we figured out why the pause button didn’t work, but the fact the amp kept working after the electricity being pulled was truly a mystery.

I’ll do it again tomorrow and see if it happens again.  maybe it retains power for a while, but it went on I would estimate for 2 minutes at least before I gave up and went to find my phone and the app to turn it off.
