Hi

i I have an older style Sonos amp which was working well. This week i noticed music play back was stopping and starting.

I contacted support today. They said it looked like a memory issue.

they had me factory reset the amp. After doing this the amp is found. It adds. But then says unable to link to account.

I’ve tried following Sonos support advise to restart / power off and factory reset again. Every times it’s the same.

I have tried both wired and wireless connections bits always the same. It adds to the app. But won’t register to the account.

support have now gone offline. So now rather than having music randomly stopping and starting. I’ve got no music at all.

I also tried the app on my phone and iPad. And uninstalled / reinstalled the app too.

I am having the same issues. after my reset the light is now blinking between orange and white. I reached out to audio guy who installed my system and he said the amp is dead and needs to be replace.

Very disappointing as my Connect:amp’s are just 6 years old….

Seems more like a system issue on Sonos side. If yours is doing the same.

a new amp is about £800.
