TV Speakers Active - Connection Loss

I am having some connection issues with my Beam.

It was working fine whilst watching SkyQ on my  Phillips Ambilight TV, I then switched to my Zidoo android box with no issues but on changing sources back to SkyQ again the Beam seems to be disconnected and “TV Speakers Active” notification.

I have remedied this by power cycling but there must be a better way to adjust settings somewhere save me having to power cycle every time to get the connection setup again?

The CEC functionality on your Zidoo might be causing the problem. Can it be disabled on the Zidoo?
