soundbar optical samsung tv glitching sound

My soundbar optical cable is making the sound glitch when watching films on Netflix ,amazon,ect 

YouTube and TV the sound is fine. 

They used to work fine together.  

I have swapped the cables to a new optical line and it still does it. 

If I change settings to TV  sound it works fine but there is lots of delay between TV and soundbar. 

Please can any reply be put into simple english. I'm not computer savvy.

Which model TV are you using? Which SONOS ‘bar” are you using? Make sure that both the TV and SONOS system are up to date. Are you using a TV App or an external box to receive Netflix and Amazon videos?
