Hey guys,
This is absolutely driving me crazy. When I turn on my LG OLED (2020), connected with HDMI ARC to my Arc, I hear no sound when starting one of the built-in apps such as YouTube or Netflix. I have to turn on my cable TV set top box which is connected to HDMI 1, then all of sudden the Arc starts playing sound from the TV.
So basically every time I just want to watch Netflix or something, the Arc won’t respond and I have to turn on the STB first, wait til it’s booted, switch to HDMI1 until the Arc starts playing sound, and then switch back to Netflix or whatever.
I’ve tried every imaginable option; full factory reset of both devices, power cycle, recabling everything, running the setup through the Sonos app again, making sure AutoPlay in the Sonos app is on etc etc. I’m really lost here. Any tricks on how to fix this?
