My Sonos will no longer recognise one of my Sonos Connects. When I try and add the Connect again as a new device the app tells me “App Update Needed” (the version of the App on my phone is 11.2.8). When I attempt to update the App I get an error message “Update problem”. The associated error code I click on more information is 1101.

I have rebooted my router and wifi. I also also uninstalled the App and reinstalled it. I have also tried doing the update from my iMac. Nothing has worked.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you “controlav” that fixed it! It was the BT router and disabling the 5GHz channel allowed the update.
