Sonos S1 and IKEA Symfonisk unstable

I have a network of Sonos speakers around my house consisting of Play 5 (1st generation), Connect and IKEA Symfonish bookshelf speakers.

All of my speakers are connected to my network with Cat6 cable.

I play music saved on my file server and use TuneIn radio streaming service.

I use Sonos S1 Controller on Android devices and Windows 10.

I use my first generation Sonos products with Bluetooth Transmitters via the headphone jack so I can use Bluetooth headphones.  I dont seem to have any issues at present with the first generation speakers.

My issue is when playing music from my file server, songs keep skipping while partially played and often the music stops playing and I need to hit play again.  Also, while playing radio over TuneIn it may stop and I need to restart it again with the S1 Controller.

I am not sure if the problem is the S1 Controller or the IKEA Speakers.

Can anyone shed some light on this issueand offer advice.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds a lot like a duplicate IP address with your router, since all devices are directly wired. I’d suggest a network refresh, by unplugging all Sonos/IKEA devices from power, and while they’re unplugged, reboot the router. Once the router comes back up, you can plug the other devices back in.
