I have two WiFi networks coming from one router. The first one “WiFi A” I give guests the password so they can use WiFi. But “WiFi B” remains private and only I have the password. How can I make connection to the port only possible if you are connected to “WiFi B”?

Put the Port on WiFi B? I’m assuming WiFi B is not a ‘guest network’ as defined by the router, they tend to do client isolation so devices can not talk to each other, only the internet, something that stymies Sonos rather well, since it relies on talking not only to your internet, but also all other Sonos devices on your network.

If the network you use for guests isn’t a guest network, why would you use it? As I understand it both networks are now connected via the router and de ices on one network should be able to see devices on the other.

I have two WiFi’s, sharing the same subnet. Each SONOS wireless unit is free to make its own choice. If one WiFi goes down for maintenance, the units will switch to the other.

To make sure your Sonos Port only connects to "WiFi B," you should configure the Port to connect specifically to that network. Ensure that "WiFi B" is not a guest network, as guest networks often isolate devices, preventing them from communicating with each other. If both WiFi networks share the same subnet, the Sonos Port should automatically connect to the available network.
