I have two Sonos One speakers on my home network. One in the living room, the other in my office. Plus, a google speaker in the kitchen.

Whenever anyone uses the Sonos in the living room, it drops off the network for the other users.

It takes ages to add the device back to the app. The scan loops forever, then it suddenly connects as it did before. Or not, and we give up.

I've linked our accounts to the network.

Does anybody know why?

It's a massive pain.

*Sonos network with two users?*

Which make/model of router are you using? How are the two speakers connected to the network? Does it make any difference if you cable one of the speakers to the router, even on a temporary basis?

We have a standard BT router and fiber on the premises. They're connected over our wifi network.

I only use a direct Ethernet connection to force it back into the network when it refuses to connect.

The settings don't stick. As soon as somebody uses it, it kicks the other user off.

However, it sometimes reconnects. Randomly.

It just seems unstable.

There have been previous issues reported with some BT routers, as mentioned in this link below. Is this your router?

Brilliant, thanks for the info.

If you wire one speaker permanently you can put the system into SonosNet mode (or add a Boost).
