Sonos in a pilates studio

We intend to use a Sonos system for a pilates studio.
Room size is 100sqm with 4meter height.

Intention is to use a port and go from there into a mixxer and to a PA.

Important is that it will also sound good at low volume.
I heard in case we use Sonos Speakers we have a delay that would be strange when unsing a microphone. → That is reason for “conventional” PA with port idea.

I rekon it would make sense to use the digital out of the port to go into the mixer in order to keep the qualiy till there at a maximum level?

Any one uses such a setup?

I don’t but using the Port and a mixer ahead of your power amp is surely the way to go.

You wouldn’t suffer much in the sound if you used the Port’s RCA outputs and that might give you more options for the mixer.
