Hi folks
I presume the Amp allows easy switching between the home theater setup, the floor speakers, and if I want to stream to other rooms (I have Gen 2 Play:5’s in other rooms) or adding other rooms if I am using the floor speakers in the media room?
In this respect AMP behaves as CONNECT:AMP.
While bonded as the surround amplifier, Line-In is disabled. AMP cannot be used as a front L/R amplifier in conjunction with a soundbar. If you want to use AMP as a standalone L/R Room, you’ll first need to remove it from the surround room.
As always, Rooms can be Grouped to play the same music.
If you attempt to Group AMP with the soundbar while watching TV, there will be a slight time offset between the TV audio and other members of the Group.

Thanks a ton. Will try out the Amp as a soundbar replacement as well but for now planning to keep the TV/Home Theater setup independent of the stereo music setup that the Amp will drive.
