Sonos app says my Sonos Connect needs updating but update fails every time I try. Errors 30 and 1013. Tried connecting via ethernet to router, still no luck. Won’t allow use in the meantime..

Anyone else have this problem?

Don't worry, I'm and installer and I've been having nothing but issues with Sonos for the last 6 months. 

My android app did allow me to update the systems I were installing until July 1st app update. I've tried on 5 different sites to install sonos amps, however they go missing the moment I try to update them, greeted with exclamation mark. 

So then I grab the customers iPad and the players are there visible on the system and will allow me to update. However the products sometimes disappear and unregister themselves, and then have to re enter the PIN on the back of the product for a second, sometimes third time. The players will then disappear again, and I have to go back into system and re join the system. 

Whatakes things even worse is that on iPad I cannot complete TV setup on an ARC as the page freezes on looking for a signal from your TV. So I have to revert to android to complete that step. 

So basically you need both an android phone and iPhone to install a Sonos ARC. And a very good magnifying glass to read the PIN on Sonos products, they might as well be in braile. 

I wonder how normal consumers cope.
